Book Discussion: Betsy Ross and the Making of America by Marla Miller

Recommended for adults. Registration recommended. Synopsis: The creation of the first American flag and the story of Betsy Ross are inseparable, but few people know much about Ross beyond the iconic story. Biographer Marla Miller portrays a Philadelphia businesswoman whose life illuminates the lives of many of her contemporaries in revolutionary America.
